If you enjoy humor or a more British sort, this is a pretty good film to unwind with as it does provide a nice mix of the comedy and violence - not so much horror I would say - but it's a fun time none-the-less. They tend to go over-the-top on some of the scenes (land mines and bear traps tend to do that) but I would watch it again.

I was fairly surprised with this movie, it turned out pretty damn good. I usually don't get into comedy/horror. Movies like Cabin Fever I find to be horrendous. But this one did indeed manage to correctly pace itself to not only be humorous at times but also be suspenseful.

This movie had teeth! Literally. Amidst all the effective violence and heart-pounding suspense, it is a social commentary about Americans. It reminded me of "Hostel" crossed with "Shaun of the Dead" (which is a GREAT thing) but it's a little darker than both of those films. I found myself smirking when the violence began and the somewhat slow exposition expired. If you like your comedies dark, this movie is for you.

A group of office workers on a team building exercise in the Hungarian woods gets lost and end up being stalked by a band of militaristic psychopaths. This British horror comedy has one flaw but unfortunately, it's a fatal one. It's not that funny. Danny Dyer has a smattering of mildly amusing lines but otherwise it's just a gory slasher flick and as such is pretty much plotless and has little in the way of character development. If anything, the horror side of things is TOO successful. The effects are very good but the effect is that it's a bit too gruesome to be funny because it's TOO realistic. Evil Dead 2 and Ichi were funny because they were so over the top and Saun had a tremendously witty script. This is a half way house that can't quite make up it's mind what it's meant to be. …
