Warriors from Earth are transported to another dimension and are given 6 days to defeat forces that seek to rule both their reality and out own. Bad acting and really bad fighting.

Even more laughably bad than the first. It's almost too bad to laugh at. Terrible film.

I'm not above saying that I enjoyed this movie, but I am above saying that I will ever watch it again. There's little to no actual decent qualities about this film, which makes it so hard to give it a rating like I have. I like "Mortal Kombat" and the franchise it has been built on, but "Annihilation" was a weak attempt at a sequel, as filmmakers desperately tried to outdo themselves with effects, fighting sequences, and adding way more characters than was necessary. I was terribly disappointed (except for the scene where Jax and Sonya fight Cyrax). A bit of a nasty twist here, they're making a third one...how many bets that it will be more closely related to this monstrostiy as opposed to the original (which is scads better).

This movie is terrible. There really is nothing good about it. The best actors from the other ones do not reappear and their replacements are rather wooden. Characters come and go and none are developed. The story is not interesting and is perhaps too dark for its own good. The problem is it is not fun at all. The special effects are poor , and I do not think fans of the game will like it either. I am a semi fan and I surely did not. It not even good in a bad way, it is just unpleasant to watch. I am not sure if it is the worst video game movie but it is one of them.
