I know this film is hated by a lot, but I actually liked it. I think the haters were expecting something that looked closer to the original TV show. If you watch it not thinking of it in that way, it's not too bad. William Hurt is a great actor and did a great job, as well as Gary Oldman.

In the future, Earth's natural resources are used up and it's up to a scientist and his family to construct a hyper-gate at Alpha Prime but an unwanted stowaway has plans of his own. Boring movie nothing really to talk about that's how boring this movie is.

Stupid big-budget special effects ridden upgrade of a campy television show. The only positive thing here is the glossy production.

I've had mostly bad experiences with movies based off TV shows, and Lost in Space is no exception. Aside from a few interesting effects, this is mediocre sci-fi at its best. One time was enough for me.
