When I was younger, this movie seemed really charming, but now, it just seems very naive that two married people would just spend so much time together. And then you find out the real-life cop and waitress stayed happily married to their respective spouses. Kind of a romantic slap in the face.

It was refreshing to see that being nice is the way to go. If you care and help others good things will come back to you. A sweet, feel good movie.

A cute romantic comedy. Although I found it hard to really like Fonda's character, I loved Cage. It's a charming story.
