After diminishing returns from the sequels, Scream re-quels with a vengeance, helped by some smart casting, and update to modern time and still that sly wink to the audience about what's going down. Oh, and don't worry, there's plenty of bloody kills too. It's also nice to catch up with some of the OG gang because some of us remember watching the first Scream when it came out.

Just as scary and coy as the very original while also adding some things to make it all the fresher, "Scream" 2022 (which is is technically a "Scream 5") cuts not only into its victims' bodies but their emotions as well.
