An ok film that again pits Potter up against an evil plot to kill him. The series really took off with the previous outing, but took a step back with this one, it's good none-the-less.

I found this movie the best out of all of them so far. Of course the movies won't be as AMAZING as the books but I felt that this movie was true to the book. Hogwarts gets to host the Tri-Wizard Tournament and integrates the other wizards and witches from all over Europe. Unfortunately, Harry gets chosen to participate which causes tension between himself and Ron. I love how the movie has some of that teenage angst that I encounter when it first came out in theaters. The movie progressed from nice and happy to dark and gloomy at the end. It is important to see all the characters mature and this movie is still my favorite out of all the 5 Harry Potter movies.

Of course, the movies will never be as good as the books. There is a lot missing from this story but I still enjoyed it. Darker and scarier than the others, we get to see Voldemort in his full glory.

Harry Potter - Goblet of Fire - probably my favorite Harry Potter movie to date!! While I was reading the book, I was speculating how they would create the wonderful movie effects needed to pull this movie off and I must say - I was not disappointed. Not only were there creations AMAZING -- the tasks were carried out in the plot seamlessly!! I enjoyed every minute of the film and will watch again and again for the effects alone!!

The novels are getting thick about now, which means the films have to cut an awful lot out. The actors have found their stride now, and the stunning visuals just keep getting better. Still, I prefer Azkaban to this.
