"We determine who we are by what we do."

Before, when I had no responsibilities and enough time in the evening, I was hopelessly addicted to playing video games. Many hours I spent behind my monitor slogging myself through all sorts of levels. Wondering what would follow. I had this relentless drive to improve myself on all fronts. The rest of the actors didn't do such a good job, even Zachary Quinto had nothing to do in this movie and I know he's better than this. The action scenes wasn't …

'Hitman' Reboot Barely Bests Original

'Hitman: Agent 47' is a very, very slight improvement over the previous 'Hitman' movie. This reboot shows more attempt to emulate the video game series it's based off of. There are many moments throughout that definitely felt like situations from the games, and they worked within the confines of the story. The action scenes are handled decently, with fluid fight choreography being the highlight. Though, some bouts often have a few too many cuts and whipping camera movements. Agent 47 utilizes his heightened intelligence as much as his physicality when faced with staked odds. Stealth is treated as a key factor. I liked the added attention to these areas from the games. However, the rest of the film is severely lacking in any kind of entertaining value. The plot, characters, and …
