Part 2, focusing on Charlotte Gainsbourg's adult Joe, has it's moments - especially with the scenes featuring relative unknown Mia Goth but I found the parts with Jamie Bell (focusing on punishment) to be off-putting (probably meant to be, but still). And the ending... I'm still not sure what to think - certainly not how I pictured things (but again, this is Lars von Trier - nothing can end on a happy note... ever). As a whole, certainly something different, but prefer Part 1 myself.

The second part of Lars von Trier's explicit journey of Joe shows the darker aspects of her adult life and how she found herself in the care of Seligman. This movie is the second part of the porn movie and yes I call it that because if you watch the movie you know what I mean.
