A wild ride in the love driven mind of Joel (Jim Carey). Kate Winslet's performance as the free spirited Clementine is spot on. The films talented cast, well written enigmatic storyline, and entertaining abstract cinematography, turns a crazy sci-fi love story into something everyone can relate to and enjoy.

This movie was very different. Especially for Jim Carrey. This is one of those movies that proves that even though he acts like a complete goofball in 90% of his movies he is really a versatile and dynamic actor. Same goes for Kate Winslet, but I did't really expect anything less from her. She always performs well in my personal opinion. I loved the cast. I loved the movie. This is a good one. Very cool.

I know what your thinking...Jim Carrey? This movie is a great movie but its hard to get threw the first 30 min. I had to attempt to watch this movie 2 beacuse its hard to get into it. Once you get past the begining it picks up. Rating: 8.6 out of 10

A wonderful and epically tragicomic, this film left me with a renewed sense of self. Every great once in awhile, a writer will put something to paper that makes you second-guess yourself...makes you....think. And think I did while watching Jim Carrey, Kate Winslet, Elijah Wood, Tom Wilkinson, Mark Ruffalo, and Kirsten Dunst in one of the most ingenious scripts I've seen. Beautifully magnetic, this is Michel Gondry's best film. As well as Charlie Kaufman's.

the first time that i watched this movie i really hated it. i thought that it was just plain creepy. but then i saw all of these amazing reviews for it so i watched it again, and i actually liked it. i can't say that it was amazing and i love it but, i can say that it was very interesting and grabbed my attention.

I have heard lots of poor reviews of this one but hubby and I both enjoyed it. Jim Carrey did a good job and interesting concept of picking and chosing what you want to remember and experience. Odd movie overall but worth seeing just for the moral questions it raises.

The reason why this movie works so well is because of innovative direction, a solid script, brilliant actors. Jim Carrey succeeds in this role because he wanted something serious, but he is also quirky and able to exhibit the fact he is also funny.
