I honestly have no clue what to think of "Rubber"." Because it doesn't completely form into camp, satire, or practicality, it proves to be a tough nut to crack. Disregard a rating of any kind.

Quentin Dupieux has crafted an bizarre, interesting yet confusing tale of a tire that suddenly comes to life and starts killing people. Right up front he says the movie is going to take advantage of the "no sense" that many other movies fall prey to. That is a good assessment of the overall film.

The most unique movie I've ever seen. It's storytelling methods are unlike anything ever conceived on film. It is smartly crafted and the comedy is brilliant. Those looking for a horror movie will be disappointed, because this is much more than that.

Rubber is back & forth with it's story & it is very hard to judge. It tries to be a horror-comedy, but a tyre that kills people is hard to pull off. Ultimately, it ends up being just too boring. It has pretty good death scenes & an interesting plot, but laughable dialogue & questionable storytelling makes this horror-comedy an easily forgettable movie.
