One of the biggest surprises of 2005, Narnia swept into theatres by pulling in audiences from all demographics imaginable. Based on the book by C.S. Lewis, the movie follows 4 siblings into the land of Narnia, where they are set to fulfill a prophecy that will release the land from the clutches of the White Witch. The flim doesn't shy away from the religious allegories that are present in Lewis' book. Great special effects, a sweeping score, and strong actors in the roles of the Pensieve children all add up to a great film.

This movie really did nothing for me and I really thought it was a waste of time and money for me. I told my husband he will have to find someone else to go see number two with.

One of the worst movies I have seen. I went into it hoping it would at least have the same magic as the BBC series movies and was let down in almost every way. At no point in the movie was I ever entertained. Why did the girl smile so much?

Combines elements of Harry Potter and LOTR and succeeds in capturing most of the same magic. A bit of Christian allegory, though it doesn't detract from the plot. A great family film.
