Sad, bleak, lonely movie about loss, grief, and yearning. Minimalism coming at you. He loses Daisy, he meets Violet, Lilly and Rose. None of the other flowers can ease him or replace Daisy. The sex scene at the end is explicit. If this movie doesn't make you feel bad, nothing will.

A ramshackle road-trip drama of no merit, sans a very explicit (and controversial) scene of fellatio. If endless, pointless scenes of driving around are your cup of tea, you could do worse than this pretentious mess. Sidenote: Fellow film critic Roger Ebert had a hilarious trade-off of words with star/writer/director Vincent Gallo when this premiered at the Cannes Film Festival: Ebert said he once had a colonoscopy that he would rather watch than this movie. Gallo responded and angrily attacked Ebert's weight problem. Ebert's response was "It's true, I am fat. But one day I will be thin, and you will still be the director of The Brown Bunny." Final Grade: D
