This movie was like top gun in world war 2. red tails. Follows the story of the Tuskegee Airmen, the first African-American flying combat squadron formed during World War II. this movie as two good thing's in it.number one the action is amazing in this movie.number 2 the visual effect's are mind blowing and now it is time for the Bad.this movie is so boring and slow in some parts in the movie and the characters in this movie you really don't care about at all.

Given a chance to prove their worth on aerial battle, a group of African- American pilots are about to prove themselves that even they struggle racial discrimination on land, they can and will fight on war. *** This was a great surprise to me. I never expected that this movie could be this good and heartwarming. I even enjoy the aerial war. I can feel the characters, thus, I would say that the cast performed well. I also love the story, not a feel-good film but I felt the touching parts and the depth of the storyline. One thing I hate about this film: OPENING CREDITS

I went into this with major trepidation, and while it wasn't as bad as I was expecting, Lucas still doesn't have an ear for dialogue and the characters were all cliche. The actual dog fights are a lot of fun - but the movie just doesn't address the many issues the Tuskegee Airmen faced, and in the end, it's just another war film with little bite.
