A really good little dark comedy. Half of the film I absolutely loved while the other half I absolutely hated; the tone is uneven and strange. I still, though, can't recommend this enough. An absolute must-see!

As far as dark comedies go, this one is pretty damn dark. It includes a teen suicide and man profiting off of it. The darkness of the story may be off-putting for some viewers, but it makes for a very accessible satire. It shows how people tend to almost deify the dead in many circumstances. Overall, it is a good dark comedy with fine performances from its cast. It has some slow moments and some of the characters don't exactly evoke sympathy, but overall its worth a watch for its off-putting subject matter and level of satire.

OK. So. This movie. "World's Greatest Dad", has a great plot but the details used to run the story is really not-so-great, I think there will be a lot of alternative ideas on how Kyle dies which will be funnier and a lot easier to understand right away ( i actually don't get the point of having something tied on your neck while doing your "need"). The story has moral but it was not that clear. In terms of acting, the lead did a good job but not to the supporting roles, especially the scene when there are two girls are trying to outrun (outcrawl?) each other to get Kyle's favorite singer's album. that was really bad. As a movie in general, no cinematic technique impresses me. Just my opinion.

Great black comedy. There are some hilariously dark moments and Robin and Daryl are fantastic as father and son.
