A middle aged man has a reawakening in his life after falling in love with his daughter's teenage friend and buying drugs from his neighbor.
The father (Lester) (Kevin Spacey) has an unfaithful wife (Carolyn) and suddenly quits his job and is infatuated with his daughter's best friend (Angela). The daughter (Jane) hates her parents and wants the creepy kid next door (Ricky). Angela wants Lester (if he works out), much to Jane's dismay. Ricky wants Jane. Ricky's father's conservatism (a marine) faces his Ricky's liberalism. Carolyn wants another real estate man (Buddy) not Lester. A must-see satire of dysfunctional suburbia. -- Wings Of Chaos
