Nice long X file episode. Nothing more, nothing less. Nice to see them back, but, I thought would add something to the mythology. Low rating because lack of that. As a movie its average. Only for X Files hardcore fans.

I love X-files and although I wasn't expecting much I was hoping for something more supernatural. Instead they pulled out a sci-fi/thriller that didn't have any unresolved mysteries in it. Sure there was a psychic, but that is not X-files worthy. I was hoping for more than a mad scientist plot. However, I realize that much of my disappointment was due to the fact I wanted and X-files movie like the episodes or like the first one. As a regular movie was pretty good and I enjoyed it. I liked seeing Mulder and Scully back in action, even though Scully was boring. I was surprised that Mulder sister is still talked about, I thought that plot was beat to death and was hoping at least in the movie it would be done.

I enjoyed this movie a lot maybe even more than the first. I was glad that it was not alien themed and more along the lines of the "oddity" type x-files. Although I would probably get the same out of watching it on my couch I really enjoyed this! Now they just need to bring the series back!

Well, I somehow believe this to be somewhat of a stand alone film. Sure many say it is for the die-hard fans of the X-Files television show, but I wasn't even expecting to see this movie. I never was a real big fan of the X Files, and somehow I ended up at the theatre watching the sequel to the first X files movie from 1998. Which I hadn't seen. Even watching the sequel to a television series based movie based on a television show( which i rarely watch) I still understood everything at enjoyed it. Probably because i was pleasantly surprised. I had the lowest expectations for this film, but ended up enjoying it. But it's not something I'd go to the theatre to see for a second time. FINAL SCORE :::: 60% ::::
