I absolutely loved this movie. This is how a comedy should be done. It takes a plot and lets the comedy flow from the plot, it doesn't throw random topical references out. Robert Downey Jr. is amazing, Jack Black and Ben Stiller were fantastic. However the best performance comes from Tom Cruse, thats right I said Tom Cruse. I wont say who he plays because part of the glory of his role is actually figuring out and comming to terms with the fact that it is Tom Cruse. This is one of the best comedy's in a very long time. If you get the chance watch this movie

Funky movie! Ben Stiller did a great job. That's my kind of humor, just on the right level.

What can you say about this movie other than it was stupid. And although I have been known to like a number of stupid movies, they at least have to be stupid funny or somewhat entertaining. For me, this movie was neither. It was ok and I don't feel like it was a complete waste of my time but it's definitely not something to write home about.

Tom Cruise Was Brilliant In This! He Played The Part Perfectly! I Thought This Film Was Halirious! One Of My Deffinate Favourites! I Liked The Script. Ben Stiller Did A Good Job. Downey Jr. Was Just Awesome In It And Jack Black Was Making Me Laugh So Much With His 'Jelly Beans'. :)

This movie was plain hysterical. Absolutey hysterical. When a group of actors at the head of their game try to act out a documentary-style war epic and their director is killed in action, only comedy runs amok out of the zany mishaps and misadventures. Robert Downey Jr., Ben Stiller, Jack Black, and Steve Coogan are just brilliant. A must-see, clever, well-written, well-acted and wonderously delivered. Highly recommended comedy.

This movie is awesome!! Maybe one of the best comedy I saw last year. However, you need to be a true movie fan to understand all the funny scenes. My favorite part is when Ben calls his agent, saying that he just killed his favorite.....hahaha

This movie is ridiculous; but it stars Ben Stiller so I guess that's not too much of a shock. The best parts of the movie were Rob D. Jr and Tom Cruise. Shame on them for taking part in this tragic production (AND Matthew McCounaghey for that matter); however, great role playing.

I wasn't offended, but I didn't laugh that much either. Though there are a few great parts, they are too far and not enough. Tom Cruise is perfect whenever he's on screen too bad everything can't be as entertaining.

i really do not know what the whole hype was about this movie. i got about fifteen minutes into it and could not stand it any more. the humor was stupid and just plain awful. my brother loved it and so did all of my guy friends, but for some reason it didn't strike my fancy.

I'm about an hour into the movie and it's the biggest disappointment. I have not laughed even once. So much for an entertaining Saturday afternoon.
