I know the appeal of this movie is Al Pacino's character receives a threat call informing him that he has 88 minutes to live and he has to figure out who wants him dead, and yet, during that time, it doesn't feel like 88 minutes and instead it feels much longer. I guess Roger Ebert was right when he said, "No good movie is too long and no bad movie is short enough."

Absurdly plotted thriller with Al Pacino as a rakish forensic expect whose life is threatened by an unknown killer. Pacino has to pick out the murderer's identity out of a weird lineup of suspects before his 88 minutes runs out. Silly instead of suspenseful but cheesy enough to be fun viewing.

Entertaining outing for Pacino, with action, suspense, plot twists...but a foreseeable conclusion.

I think that Al Pacino could've picked a better movie to star in.

88 Minutes is about is an hour and a half of wasted time and effort. Al is pretty much is up to his old, old tricks in this unrealistic thriller that gets more inane the longer is goes on. Just not worth it.

A lethargic and ridiculous thriller that gets worse and worse as it goes along and the cast either sleepwalks or overdoes it; one is neither entertained nor caught up in the storyline as it appears Pacino isn't either. I think it's funny how a condemned man on death row can request a live interview on MSNBC and get it immediately. Hardly a way to occupy two hours. Final Grade: D

A very typical Al Pacino movie that gets a little bit too old for my taste. The title itself is old, even the story did not seem to bring anything new. The only thing I see positive about it was the pacing and Pacino's shouting like he always do on all of his movies. Overall everything about 88 minutes is Old Old Old.
