Holmes goes to France and meets various funny foreign types and solves a case with remarkable similarities to the hound of the baskervilles. Wooden does not start to describe the acting in a particular scene when Holmes corners the bad guy who stands deep in shadows and explains who and why he is committing the crimes he is. It is so bad it must be some sort of simplistic device that passes me by. Fun special effects for the time. Overall good clean fun.
