The beginning of the movie was scary but after you find out whats really happening it just becomes boring

Vacancy is a good and entertaining thriller with just some minor problems. It's well directed with average writing and the cast is good. Luke Wilson isn't my first choice for the lead role, but she does a good job anyway. Kate Beckinsale is good but her character is not as strong as i thought she should have been. Frank Whaley is good but his character is more goofy then creepy. The movie is more intense and chilling then scary but it is still fun. Even though everything in the story happens so fast for an 85 minute run and it's worth seeing.

One of those "how-stupid-can-you-be" thrillers that makes you want to scream at every wrong decision. Still, it moves along quite briskly and does have an interesting (if far-fetched) premise. It's fun, but nothing groundbreaking.

It wasn't too bad. Luke Wilson and Kate Beckinsale's characters really kept the movie going. Even though it was pretty predictable and not a lot of genuine scares, it was creepy to watch. A good thriller, a bad horror.
