Frank Martin, mercenary-for-hire, has relocated to Miami where he's in charge of protecting the young son of a wealthy drug agent. When the boy is kidnapped, and Frank is implicated, he set off to get the boy back and reveal the true kidnappers. This movie as it's silly and it's action sense and that's what I want from a action film like this.

Frank (Jason Statham) is back with a better car, unfortunately a hyped up character with almost superhero-like features (jumping from more than 6 ft. landing on the ground, jumping out of the window unscathed luckily not being run-over by the car, great timing when getting the cure for the virus before being squished by a truck, etc). This installment lacks a better female lead as well and as the boring soundtrack, which is never an impact throughout the series, seems like a rehashed Bond score. It's ludicrous how the female antagonist always shows of her top. Ending was coy and of course had hints for another film.

I enjoyed this movie. Not usually my type of movie but it was action packed. Sometimes I get caught up in stunts and scenes that are unbelievable but I have to tell myself it's just a movie created to entertain its audience and it does just that.

What can I say - if you want action, here's your movie. Beyond that, there's not much else, but it's good at what it sets out to do: entertain.

As full to the brim as an action movie could get. The stunts are bigger and it moves even faster than the first movie. However, this time around the laws of physics don't apply to car driving.
