Costner is good, as are his golfing pals, but once romance gets in the way, the movie slows down. Average at best.

Tin Cup is best when is focuses on Costner, but as soon as any romance gets in the way, it makes me gag. If they had focused more on the sport, it would have been better for me.

My god I hate this movie. I can't say too much more, but to talk about the scene where Mr. Cup keeps dropping the ball to make it over the water and continues to miss. The crowd loves it, what? Thank god I didn't have a gun at the time, or I would no longer have have a TV :)

One of my favorite sports movies. Kevin Costner is great at playing a mentally unsound golf pro who will inevitably break down. It is a bit cheesy but in the end this movie gets me every time.
