Plot: A shy, sheltered teen, Ruby is content with trying to just live a normal life - even though she is secretly a kraken and not just any, but part of long line of royalty. Far from being the monsters depicted in stories, krakens watch over the seas - and their arch-rivals, mermaids, are much more destructive and deadly.
