Plot: In the 1990s a lonely bachelor named David, tired of the drudgery of caring for his ailing mother, decides to try a video dating service but is intrigued by a strange VHS tape called Rent-A-Pal. He soon finds himself watching the affable video of "Andy" offering his advice and friendship as a service - but David soon finds the price of this friendship is much too steep. -- Chris Kavan
