Green Zone review

Roy Miller (played by Matt Damon, whose character was based from Richard Gonzalez, an Army Chief Warrant Officer) discovers inaccurate intel from a mysterious source. Story revolves around this premise coupled with lots of gunfights, abduction and chases. It's loaded of background figures, lack of better character development, dizzying camerawork and swift editing makes this picture rushed and difficult to comprehend. If only the direction emphasized the plot in a more concise manner instead of the action sequences and has given introduction the the antagonist, then it could have been better. Screenplay was decent, nothing too memorable. Score was applicable and acting sincere. Overall it felt like viewing a tv series than a war flick. Green Zone emphasizes on politics, violence and military warfare.
