Confidence review

Jake Vig (Edward Burns) has a team of grifter's namely Gordo (Paul Giamatti) and Miles (Brian Van Holt) and Al (Louis Lombardi). He tries to get back at the person who killed one of his friends by acquiring a gorgeous talented thief in Lily (Rachel Weisz). Dustin Hoffman was superb as the King and Andy Garcia as Special Agent Gunther Butan was effective. You don't get much emotion from Burns and Giamatti is always underrated. Soundtrack was upbeat and direction clear while the screenplay somewhat entertaining. Some noteworthy quotes from Jake - "You can't trick karma." and Butan - "Temper is a sign of weakness. Temper is a sign of weakness." The movie had a few dull moments comparing a film of a similar premise such as Ocean's 11 or The Grifters. Confidence is still a good watch if one is in the mood for a crime flick with a twist in the end.
