This reviewer was never a fan of the director with regards to plot and pace of story-telling. The artists displayed sincere performances, soundtrack was applicable and effects were gorgeous. Some scenes were just too long and not related to the story. Its premise was unique but the execution was lackluster.
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus could have been sensation with the cast alone but falters as a whole.
