Unfortunately, Humphrey Bogart had little screen time. The pace of the storytelling was distorted and Billy Dannreuther, Bogart's character was a bit dry. The supporting cast wasn't that appealing and the accents just felt awkward. Not much humor was present as well. Overall, Beat the Devil could have been way better in so many aspects, at least the title was catchy.
