Two of the most popular icons in horror battle it out. Lousy story and unbelievable effects with little horror and action. Nothing really memorable except for the undramatic conclusion. Its as if they wanted to do a sequel because of the ending. Freddy vs. Jason was probably used as a marketing tool to relive both franchises from the depths. If only the script and action were improved. I remember being disappointed walking out the theater.
