Some of the original cast are back. Alfred Molina as Dr. Octopus/Dr. Octavius was really good, the plot was decent and effects were believable. This film had more action sequences and drama to the life of Peter Parker. Some parts were too much talk and not explained well. If only they combined the action and Doc Ock to the first film, then you have the best Spider-Man film created. Had an improved screenplay and better lines: Peter Parker - "Sometimes, to do what's right, we have to be steady, and give up the things we want the most. Even our dreams." "I believe there´s a hero in all of us that keeps us honest, noble and finally allows us to die with pride." Doc Ock - "Intelligence is not a privilege, it's a gift, to be used for the good of mankind." Amazing cinematography, better character development and stunning performances. Nothing over the top like the 3rd installment, not as average as the first. Spider-Man 2 is a marvel to watch while enjoying the action sequences and learning from the themes of love, sacrifice, dreams and choice.
