Kill List is a strange film to be sure. But it's also a wonderful slowburn where things become stranger and stranger and the viewer is left in the dark just like the protagonist. Usually films dealing with the occult are either over the top or silly, but this one is more along the lines of the original wicker man, it slowly creeps under your skin until you feel just as disoriented and frustrated as the main character. Even if the ending is somewhat predictable and a little bit of a disappointment, everything leading up to it is very well done, great acting, with a very unsettling atmosphere. You may need subs though, as the accent can be very hard to understand. Still Kill List is a wonderfully stage, at times truly scary, genre piece..
At the end you'll have plenty to discuss.
