A Wasted Opportunity

Oh the masses who are going to be so disappointed by The Troll Hunter. A clever concept, with convincing special effects, and some interesting ideas, but it's all for naught. The film never lives up to it's potential, and just when things start to get exciting or even a little bit creepy (which it rarely is) the scene ends. The special effects for a film of this budget is mostly impressive, the performances are convincing enough, it's just sad that whenever the film starts to get going- it stops. Thus The Troll Hunter is an admirable effort, but a failure nonetheless.
