The premise is simple, but the hilarity that ensues is pure comic madness. A reason the film works so well is the chemistry between the (at the time of release) relatively untested and unknown leads, who play each scene as if they genuinely are high school buddies all grown up. The film is vulgar, but displays a heart, by the end.
