Pi is an insane trip into one man's paranoia. Aronofsky uses a variety of cinematic tricks, including some surreal symbolism and a claustrophobic style of filmmaking that blurs the line between reality and fantasy. The film's stark black and white cinematography adds to the grittiness of this extremely unique thriller.
