I've read the book long before the film, and I loved the book so much that I had high expectation seeing this film. I am going to assess it as both as a film and a film adaptation. As a film, I felt like it went to the typical route that you have a beautiful girl with sorta family issues, and on top of that, fell in love with this soul travelling from one body to another. It was a good material but I felt like both the direction and acting were not effective on generating such romance between the characters that audience would be hooked on it. Everything seemed to be just coverage of a good material, and fell short on using cinematic experience as a tool of conveying a message. Second, as a film adaptation, I felt like it did not really capitalize the good and profound concept of A's character. The film went more on the perspective of Rhiannon which I believe is not the "soul" of the novel. This is more like an adaptation of "Another Day" than "Every Day".
