Martin Lawrences makes a kids movie.

This is one of those family friendly fun kids flicks, the kind that has a very distinct order in which things play out. Man is a professional somebody that is not well liked, man gets suspended/fired from his job, man gets hired by lesser league of same sport (minor league, college league, or usually kids league), man resents job, kids hate man, man finds one kid with talent, man falls in love with random woman, man starts to like kids, man helps kids realize their potential, man screws up big with woman he likes, man loses respect of the team, man offered his old job back, man turns down job, man returns to team and wins their respect, team wins big victory, man wins back woman... happy ending for all.
This movie might as well have been called "the mighty ducks basketball edition" if you like this kind of movie and its complete predictability then this is a good movie. If you have kids they will love this movie. Its probably the first Martin Lawrence movie that they will be able to see and understand. Not a horrible movie, it does have a few laughs, but it is very predictable.
