What a Film Heathers Is

Heathers is one of those films that I normally would pass up. It is not the kind of genre that I draw toward. Dark comedy can be very tricky, and sometimes controversial depending on the material. However, this film is an absolute masterpiece. I never expected this film to be as critically artistic and entertaining as it turned out to be.

The ability to utilize cynical humor with real-life psychological issues through societal depictions is truly amazing. The way JD masters both a smooth comedic role while supporting a sociopathic trait is very intriguing. Veronica's coping with the feelings she had for JD made the film. It was investing, interesting, psychological disturbing, and fun to watch.

This film has made me appreciate dark humor a lot more than I used to. I truly believe the high praise Heathers gets is truly earned and deserved. Maybe as a frequent viewer, I was just too picky with my comedy choices since comedy can be used in many different approaches. If someone wanted to watch this movie with me, I would not hesitate to watch again. Also, if someone is looking for a good film recommendation, Heathers is definitely on the top of my list.

I approve of this film with high regard, and truly believe if any other film needs to have a sequel, this is one that surely should be on the top of the waiting list for pending sequels. I hope everyone is able to find some enjoyment out of this film like I did.
