Bette reprises her role as "The Virgin Queen" or Queen Elizabeth I. For some reason I don't like her as Queen Elizabeth I, as much as her other roles. Bette hated Errol Flynn for years, and he was in the first movie about Queen Elizabeth I she was in. Years later when she rewatched The Private Lives of Elizabeth and Essex, she realized what a great actor he was. The feud was ended, but Errol was long since dead.
