Action: 1.5/3 + Comedy: 0.5/2 + Good vs Evil: 0/1 + Love/Sex: 1/1 + Special Effects: 0/1 + Plot: 0/1 + Music: 0/1 = 3/10 or 30%.
While Samuel L. Jackson displays a controlling, overly aggressive, manipulative, and bitter Police dad it is not clear as to whether he or his shallow, contrived neighbors are more dislikable. Everything you expect to happen will and there's no logic or understandable motivation towards the characters actions or constant bickering reagrding the hardships of mixed ethnic relationships and starting a family. The only bright spots come in the much under-used criminals Jackson has run ins with: the suicidal apartment dweller and the informant. There is nothing new or much to enjoy here overall.
