This movie has an interesting set-up as a comedic spy farce. Two criminals are looking for a valuable diary but get double-crossed. So they track their quarry onboard the Orient Express and encounter all sorts of strange passengers. Jean Kent is a lovely lady but she's not a very good actress. There are few recognizable stars (aside from a young David Tomlinson). Some of the side-stories are surprisingly funny. Like a wisecracking G.I. gets a stuffy birdwatcher as his bunkmate or the train's chef arguing with his staff.
