Notable change of pace for Charles Bronson. It’s not just a romantic comedy that happens to be a western. But it also a surprisingly cynical riff on the myth-making of the Old West. Seriously, it takes a remarkably dark turn in the third act. The dynamic between Bronson and Jill Ireland is pretty great.
