Despite a mediocre first act, this turns out to not be a total misfire. John Cena is sort of going through the motions but his costars fare better. Juan Pablo Raba is pretty funny as a maniacal dictator who becomes his sidekick. Alison Brie is quite charming once the script allows her to loosen up and be funny.
