Gripping thriller about a holocaust survivor turned housewife (Rapace) who abducts a neighbor (Skarsgard) suspecting he’s secretly the same Nazi soldier who raped her during the war. But is her suspicion justified?
The moral dilemma maintains suspense and the plot twists are effective. There are a few contrived moments that only serve to push the luck for Rapace’s character. But both her and Alexander Skarsgard were very good. Chris Messina plays her husband who becomes an unwilling participant to her actions. His character initially annoyed me but even he has an arc of sorts.
