This wickedly dark comedy-thriller is smart, engaging, suspenseful, and even humorous. I thought it was gonna turn out to be overrated, but man this is a great movie. It’s a movie which doesn’t waste its time either. Once the twists and obstacles start piling up, so does the tension.
Parasite is deserving of winning Best Picture. It’s the type of satirical thriller that Hollywood wants to make but it lost the will to do so. Maybe this will inspire an aspiring director one day.
