Batman: Assault on Arkham

Time to translate Cartoons into Live-action!

Here's a thought: Warner Bros. should fire whomever is responsible for writing the scripts for their superhero movies (which right now consists of only David S. Goyer and his ego) and assign the chaps writing their DTV animated features. The writing is tightly wound, the pacing is exciting, and the characterization is spot-on in most of their releases.
The latest one "Assault on Arkham" is no exception and it's a contender for the best one yet with its deliciously demented cast of super-villains, a suspenseful script, and a suitably adult atmosphere. Had this been live-action it'd earn an R-rating with no questions asked. Also, the animators have finally found the right balance between hyper-stylized and realistic when designing the characters.
The voice cast is excellent and the action is entertaining and there's never a dull moment thanks to the script making these purportedly unsympathetic characters instead rather likeable.
