Does it still hold up after the hype has died down? It’s not the anti-Christ that film Twitter makes it out to be. There's a lot of good here. Although the hype moments do age it a bit, as the "cheer moments" are now just silent moments with everyone sitting quietly to watch it.
But in emotional and serious scenes, I appreciated that the film didn't spoil them with jokes like most MCU movies do. The car scene where Wolverine snaps at Deadpool was truly excellent, and Hugh Jackman commits fully.
It's entertaining and heartfelt. Those who claim this is the worst movie ever should watch more films.
