Dances with Wolves

An easy, free-flowing epic set across the great plains of early western America. The story shows a believable integration of the main character into a Sioux indian tribe. The bonding unfolds with a gradual ease that feels justified over the three hour runtime. Again, this is another instance where the length of the movie is not so much felt due to proper editing and pacing. Done on a surprisingly small budget, and using very few non-Indian actors, the film encompasses a sense of historical closeness. Enjoyable for almost any demographic.
