Perfect blend of early Spielberg sci-fi films and many other influences, come together to make a nostalgic feeling summer movie that delivers a good time. The story between the kids is the heart of the film and the alien mystery feels more of an afterthought in the end. It has enough drama and suspense to satisfy most.
