Yes, sounds alot like "sex offender." I found it funny when they yelled SENSE OFFENDER countless times. Heh, Sense. Sex. Heh. ANYWAYS.
In a dystopia about this nearby future where emotion is forbidden under strict Control from the Goverment.
This movie is much more 'under-rated' then The Matrix, which I would consider incredibly similar, but I enjoyed them equal. I liked the movie, but to me, I just found it very entertaining. Nothing amazing, just had lots of fun. Maybe it is because off and on I would stare at the wall missing some important parts of the film, because I felt there was nothing better to do than stare at nothing. Once i noticed i had missed 3 minutes of what could have meant importance to Equilibrium's plot, i didn't really seem to care.
The director did a great job with the gun battles and fight scenes, which stood out in this film very much. Was almost distracting me to think about the plot, which didn't seem to captivate me, so I felt that it started to slow down.
I comes down to this. If You Like Dystopias, The Matrix, or Sci-Fi itself, you should check this out, but for me, i'm really on the fence for this one.

Equilibrium Review comment
I would rather watch Equilibrium over the Matrix nowadays. The acting is just better and I enjoy the story equally.
