Yeah, it's a one-joke movie. And you've probably seen a lot of the funny parts in the trailers. But you know what? There are still a LOT of funny parts that you didn't see. More importantly, the familiar parts are SO funny that you don't mind seeing them again.
I mean, the thought of two grown men acting like children -- and the adults around them allowing their behavior -- is simply ridiculous. But Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly are hilarious doing it. It sounds crazy, but I think only skilled actors could have pulled it off.
The story is barely enough to support the nonsense, but it clearly avoids even an ounce of sentimentality. That's the perfect formula for this wonderful surprise of a movie.
